The motoring sensation that is the RedBull’s Global Rallycross Seattle returns and it’s going to be a full two-day affair, Sept. 16 and 17. This time around, the GRC will be hosted at Evergreen Raceway in Monroe, currently the home of many drifting and stock car events.

“Seattle has always been one of our highest-priority markets, and one that has proven to be both a competitor and fan favorite in the past,” said Red Bull GRC CEO Colin Dyne. “We are looking forward to competing at Evergreen Speedway for the first time and to seeing many of our most loyal race fans once again.”

This year, the Super Speedway of the West is celebrating its 62nd year and what a way to celebrate it than to host this colossally popular Global Rally Cross. The Global Rallycross Seattle races will the championship leading up to the finale in Los Angeles.

“We are thrilled to be hosting a world class series like Red Bull Global Rallycross “, said President Doug Hobbs.  “We can’t wait to see the track design that will be configured by the Red Bull GRC team at our multi-use facility.  Hosting this event is a home run for our region.”

Tickets for the 2016 Global Rally Seattle series can be purchased at an early bird rate of $25 from now until August 14, with children under the age of 12 will be free when accompanied with a ticketed adult. Tickets at the gate for the two days of racing will be $35, with single-day tickets available.

Those who cannot get tickets can also watch broadcasts of Global Rallycross Seattle on on NBC Supercar on Sunday, Sept. 18 at p.m. EST, and NBCSN GRC Lites on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m. EST.
