At the urging, pleading, and requesting of players, Forza Horizon 4 is releasing the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8). The vehicle will be available for free starting on Jan. 14, 2021, to players across the globe.

C8 Corvette Details

Everyone has heard the legendary Corvette has gone to a mid-engine platform, of course. Only people under rocks haven’t. The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette comes with a 6.2L V8 VVT engine putting out 490 hp. And revs are checked by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Z51 performance package is now available and includes performance exhaust, suspension, and brake upgrades, improved axle ratio, an eLSD, and more.

This year, they’re offering two new interior colors (Sky Cool Gray and Strike Yellow). Further customize your car’s look with full-length dual racing stripes package with blue, red, orange, and yellow. They’ve added wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into the 8-inch touch infotainment system. Data hungry drivers can also add an optional built-in Wi-Fi hotspot for the data-hungry.

On top of all that, you’ll get HD rear vision camera on the 1LT and an additional front vision camera with a curb view on 2LT and 3LT models. To help keep the exterior looking pristine while getting that perfect parking spot.

However, you won’t be driving any of those in Forza Horizon 4… those are currently only for discerning buyers in the real world.

Forza Horizon 4 Chevy Lineup

The C8 Stingray joins an already impressive lineup of Chevrolet vehicles replicated in Forza Horizon 4. Players can enjoy some time in classics, like a stanced Bel Air, the original Stingray 427, an Impala SS 409, and a Camaro SS Coupe, to round out the classics.

For those wanting a more modern ride, there are two other Corvette options: a 2009 ZR1 and the ’10 GrandSport Convertible (you can read about our time with the 2014 Grandsport here). Players wanting a different kind of muscle can drive a 2012 Camaro ZL1.
